I took the picture this morning just as the sun was rising and shining onto the farmlands. Our house is lower in the glen. From the hayfields, you may spot a deer enclosure, then cow field and then horses on the horizon. Sorry my camera is old and not great for focusing or taking pics. The combine harvesters and balers were out til the wee hours of Friday and Saturday, quite noisy but that's part of countrylife I guess. Behind us we have a horse lodge with beautiful horses. And up the road we have sheep and donkeys which we spot whilst cycling. So we are very much surrounded by countryside. And I am actually happy with it. Luckliy the city and town are not too far away.A blog I started in 2007 to keep my friends and family in touch with my growing family while living in the Highlands in Scotland.
